FAQ from the Kyle Cordes, the teacher

When?
March 17-21, 2003

Where?
St.Louis, MO, USA. St.Louis is centrally located, a reasonable-length flight from anywhere in the continental U.S. Training Site The classes will be held at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Chesterfield, Missouri. This is about 25 minutes from the St.Louis airport (airport code STL).

Where to Stay
I recommend you stay at the hotel where the classes are held; see their web site for information. When you sign up for the class, inquire about how to get a reduced room rate. There are also several other hotels within a few minutes' drive.

What are the hours of the class?
We typically start each morning at 9:00 AM, and end each day approximately 5:00 PM. On Friday we'll end a bit early, so you can arrange an afternoon flight out without missing vital content.

Meals
Lunch is provided at a nearby restaurant, along with a light breakfast at the training site (donuts, coffee, etc.).

Do I need to rent a car?
The meeting site hotel is adjacent to a large shopping center with many stores, restaurants, etc., so you don't necessarilty need a car.

Do I need a computer?
Generally, we assume students will bring their own computer with Delphi (preferable 6.0 or 7.0) installed. If you don't have a notebook computer, one can be arranged - mention it when you call to register.

How's the weather there?
It can be quite nice (50's), or somewhat unpleasant (snow, sleet, etc.) in January in St. Louis. We'll walk a short distance to lunch each day, so bring a warm coat.
