SkyWire FileSync will also include napster-like features (file
search through many servers, ability to simultaneously download
different parts of one file from many servers, etc.).
ASTA BinaryPatchManager technology will also be included.
- ASTA NDIS NIC miniport binary (actual virtual network adapter
driver) to allow communication security at the highest level for any
tcp/ip application.
A NIC miniport driver is a lowest-layer driver which is "wrapped" by
support routines provided by the NDIS port driver. It provides support
for a specific network interface card (NIC). By providing a virtual
NDIS Miniport, along with ASTA RSA Public Key Encryption and AES
Encryption, ASTA will be able to deliver VPN Technology that can
support any tcp/ip application.
Since this is done at the driver level, tcp/ip traffic will not even
be seen unless the driver software is installed on the machine.
